WHAT TO WEAR

You will want to wear clothes that you feel comfortable sweating in.  Shoes must be left in the changing area just outside the yoga studio doors. We recommend you leave your socks off for a better grip to your mat.

Yoga Mats

WHAT TO BRING

Bring your yoga mat, towel, water, blocks and straps (if you use props).  Please leave all other drinks outside the studio in the student changing area.  We have bottled water available for $3 and yoga mats for rent for $3.

Studio Etiquette

Please make your best effort to get here 10 minutes before class starts to:  Check-in, check your things into the changing area, get your props, water, use the restroom and pick your spot in the studio.

Please keep footwear under the church bench outside in the studio/spa hallway.  Footwear is not allowed in studio.

Please keep valuables with you inside the studio.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen property.

All cell phones  and smartphone ringers must be turned off .

We understand the obstacles in getting here, including traffic and parking, however, no one will be allowed into class 2 minutes after the start of class to minimize disruption and out of respect for our instructors and students.

If you need to leave class early, please let your teacher know at check-in.

If you are new to class, please choose a place in the middle of the room where the instructor is easily visible to you.  Sometimes instructors will be moving around the room to assist students and listening to their verbal cues will be necessary.

Please be mindful when entering the studio and the noise you make when unrolling your mat.

Please return and sanitize any blocks or mats that you may have borrowed from the studio at the end of class.  Sanitizer bottles and paper towels will be at the block/mat return area.  Please dispose of paper towels in the barrels on your way out.

Please keep conversation at check-in and in the common area to an "inside voice" level.  There may be a class finishing in Savasana or we may have guests in the spa rooms enjoying their treatments and it's important they have a quiet environment to fully enjoy their experience.

Once inside the studio, please keep conversation to a minimum, this is the time where your practice begins.  Some students like to take this time to center themselves before their practice or to take these few minutes to meditate.

Enjoy your class, your practice!
